(:*oh yes my hair's browner. is it? haha-thanks to the conditioner``````*`````*`````*`````*`````*`````*Churches have problems, because churches have people. but the problems inside the church are not nearly as huge as the problems outside of it. why?because many of the people inside the church know that when garbage stinks, the solution is not to just use more air freshener.the solution is not to study the flight patterns of the flies. no, the solution is to get rid of the garbage!there’s only one way to do that, by using God’s garbage disposal, which is called forgiveness and reconciliation. When we come together on Sundays, we’re all coming from busy, pressure-filled lives. In fact, the most chaotic time of your week may be those few moments just before you leave for church, especially if you have small children. That is why we need a few moments preparing ourselves by intentionally drawing near to God with focused desire, a sincere, passionate desire to be in His presence.
Whenever you can, come early. As you drive here and park your car, then walk to the sanctuary and find your seat, say something like, “I now am coming into the presence of God to worship the Holy God who made me and loves me. I want to be with You God. Fill me with your Spirit. Cleanse me of any sin that might get in the way of me worshipping you with my whole heart. Help me to put aside any distractions. Quiet my soul. Help me to be fully present here. Use this service to make me more like You. I want to worship You!”In every service, we also hold on to our hope by hearing teaching from God’s Word, the Bible. your job in listening to a sermon is not to critique the quality of the delivery, or to pick it apart and look for theological flaws. rather, your job is to wrestle with what God is saying to you, then to make decisions about how you are going to respond in applying what you hear to your life.God says that as Christians, we are to motivate each other and stir one another up to regularly meet together at church for the purpose of encouraging each other to live the Christian life. If you know someone who has given up on going to church, and is in the habit of staying home, verse 25 says that you are to encourage them to come back, and when they come, work hard to give them the encouragement to keep the healthy habit of coming to church. When people who are sitting in the pews stop saying, “They're not meeting my needs” and start saying, “Whose needs can I meet?” that is when church becomes exciting and life-changing! Look again at Hebrews 10:24-25. It states, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (:Other times, the reason why people drop out of church is that they perceive their church to be dead. Do you know the difference between a living church and a dead church? A living church often changes the way things are done; a dead church doesn’t. A living church asks people to open up to new challenges and opportunities; a dead church plays it safe and never takes risks. A living church is filled with committed tithers; a dead church is filled with tippers. A living church dares to dream great dreams for growing God’s kingdom; a dead church has nightmares of dying. A living church evangelises; a dead church fossilizes.(:just little paragraphs from Why Attend Church.even if you took my heart, and tore it apart, i'd still be loving you forever-that's true love.heaven-dont miss it for the world (:
